Under The Sun and The Moon
Under The Sun and The Moon is a marvellous stage performance inspired by Jary Gody – a cycle of Slavic rituals associated with the ending of winter and the arrival of spring.
The story focuses on two characters:
Jaryło - the deity of spring, harvest and fertility,
and Marzanna - the goddess of winter, death and rebirth.
The world of ancient Slavs meets the imaginary world of nature, which becomes a witness to all these events.
The performance in an unusually vivid way recreates Slavic traditions, which are becoming forgotten in the modern world.
It evokes the memory of ancient rituals, symbols and mysteries.
